Vertical receivers are pressure vessels used in the pneumatic control system of various equipment, and serve to smooth out pulsations of compressed air in the system, its collection and storage, to equalize and maintain the necessary pressure in the system, to ensure optimal operation of the compressor. Compressed air, coming under pressure from the compressor to the receiver, expands and is initially cooled. In this regard, the air collectors also serve to partially remove moisture and oil from the compressed air.
